The climb to Krvavec is one of the most well-known and demanding road cycling ascents in the Ljubljana area. It starts in Cerklje na Gorenjskem and follows a steadily ascending road all the way to the Krvavec. The climb is characterized by a consistent, long gradient with no major flat sections, making it ideal for endurance training. The road winds through forests and alpine pastures, while the upper sections offer views over the Ljubljana Basin and the Kamnik–Savinja Alps.
