It starts in Ljubljana and heads west into the Polhov Gradec Hills, where the road gradually begins to climb through a rolling landscape of forests and small villages. After Polhov Gradec, the route continues across a gentle pass toward Škofja Loka, one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Slovenia. The return to Ljubljana follows a similar rhythm, combining short climbs, descents, and flowing sections through the countryside. The route is ideal for training rides, offering a balanced mix of climbs and flat sections, while still remaining quiet and safe enough for longer recreational cycling.
