Bike festival Celje
Bike Festival Celje is one of Slovenia's most popular cycling events, drawing riders from across the country and beyond every year. Start and finish are located at the Ingrad building at Lava in Celje. Join hundreds of cyclists on scenic routes through the Celje region.

Poli Marathon

Alpe Gran Fondo
Alpe Gran Fondo is an alpine cycling event based in the town of Kamnik, taking riders across two countries on fully closed roads with police and motorbike escort. Three routes are available: 15 km, 75 km, and a demanding 130 km course finishing at the top of Črnivec pass. Professional timing, a generous starter pack, and stunning Alpine views make this one of the most memorable cycling challenges in the region.

Red Bull Goni Pony
Red Bull Goni Pony is one of Slovenia's most unique cycling events, held annually on the iconic Vršič mountain pass in Kranjska Gora. Participants take on the challenge of climbing one of the most scenic roads in the Julian Alps — on classic Pony bikes from the 1965–1985 era, with no gears, no carbon, and a mandatory retro outfit to match. Now in its 12th edition, the 2026 event is already sold out, a testament to its cult status among cyclists and spectators alike. If you're planning a cycling trip to Slovenia in early June, Vršič Pass is the place to be.

The Okoli Pohorja Marathon is the oldest recreational cycling marathon in Slovenia, organised annually by KD Branik Maribor. Now in its 47th edition, the event takes riders through the scenic landscapes surrounding the Pohorje massif and the Drava Valley, starting and finishing in Maribor. Three routes are available: a 50 km introductory course, a 72 km mid-distance option, and the full 150 km Energija Plus route with 1,269 metres of climbing for the most prepared riders. All finishers receive a medal, gift, and warm meal.

A rare opportunity to test your solo speed on closed roads in the Ljubljana area.

Maraton Franja BTC City
Maraton Franja BTC City is Slovenia's largest and most iconic cycling event, part of the UCI Gran Fondo World Series. Green Karst Trail
Green Karst Trail is a multi-day bikepacking adventure through the wild and beautiful karst landscapes of southwestern Slovenia, created by cyclists for cyclists. Starting and finishing in Postojna, just 1 km from the famous Postojna Cave, riders choose between two self-supported routes: the Green Route (300 km, 5,000 m elevation) on gravel tracks through forests, karst caves, and intermittent lakes, or the longer Red Route (450 km, 7,800 m elevation) which adds the native Karst, Lipizzaner horse country, and the Nanos plateau. It is not a race — it is an endurance challenge with live tracking, GPX navigation, and local hospitality at GKT Friendly Points along the way.
